Public Interest Incorporated Association “Higaisha Shien Tomin Centre (Victim Support Metropolitan Citizens Centre) conferred JEPA a Letter of Thanks about the longtime achievement for the Centre. Wooden sailing boat "Spirit of Majapahit", a symbol of the friendship between Indonesia and Japan, departed Jakarta on July 11th and arrived at Tokyo bay of her final destination in the beginning of August via port of West Kalimantan, Brunei, Manila, Takao, Taiwan, Naha and Kagoshima.

Since HRS acts as a Chairperson of Bhutan Olympic Committee, the purpose of visit was to inspect candidate towns as camp place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics of Bhutan. Ms. Tokuda, Honorary Consul-General of Bhutan hosted a welcome lunch for HRH in Tokyo together with the people who had connection with Bhutan.

In June, Yorii-mach in Saitama was officially appointed as Host-Town of Bhutan.

Japan Science and Technology Agency invited five students from Bhutan to Japan to participate in a special invitation program designed for Asian high school students under the framework of Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science.
